Tellem

Privacy Policy

Effective date: May 28, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Tellem collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our website, authentication flow, video brief workspace, asset upload tools, and related services.

Information We Collect

When you sign in with LinkedIn, Tellem receives account information made available through LinkedIn and Supabase Auth, such as your name, email address, profile metadata, provider identifiers, user ID, and login/session information.

When you use Tellem, we collect the content and project information you provide, including website URLs, pitch decks, logos, screenshots, product recordings, launch notes, project names, creative brief answers, generated scripts, generated video specifications, rendered outputs, comments, edits, and related metadata.

We may also collect technical and usage information needed to operate and improve the service, such as request timestamps, browser and device signals, diagnostics, error logs, processing status records, page views, clicks, product events, and session replay data with sensitive inputs masked.

How We Use Information

We use account information to authenticate you, maintain your session, associate projects with your account, provide support, and protect access to your workspaces.

We use project content to generate, review, edit, render, and deliver launch video drafts and related outputs. During the beta, Tellem operators may review submitted projects and assets to support processing, quality control, debugging, and customer support.

We use operational and usage data to monitor reliability, understand where users get stuck or drop off, prevent abuse, troubleshoot issues, improve product quality, and maintain security.

Service Providers

Tellem uses third-party service providers to operate the product. These may include Supabase for authentication, database, and storage; LinkedIn for OAuth sign-in; Vercel or similar hosting providers for deployment; OpenAI for AI-assisted processing; PostHog for product analytics, click tracking, funnels, and masked session replay; and infrastructure or observability tools needed to run and secure the service.

These providers process information only as needed to provide their services to Tellem, subject to their own terms and privacy commitments.

AI Processing And Human Review

Tellem uses AI systems to transform project context into creative plans, scripts, visual direction, video specifications, and related outputs. Uploaded and submitted project materials may be sent to AI providers for this purpose.

Because Tellem is currently a beta product with human-assisted processing, authorized Tellem team members may review your submitted materials, generated outputs, and project state when needed to produce or improve your video, investigate issues, or provide support.

Storage And Retention

We store account, project, asset, and output data for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain your workspaces, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and operate backups.

You may request deletion of your account or project data using the contact method below. Some information may remain temporarily in backups, logs, or records we are required to retain.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers, when needed to operate Tellem, when you ask us to share it, when required by law, or when necessary to protect Tellem, our users, or the public.

If Tellem is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to appropriate protections.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect information, including authentication, access controls, and provider-managed infrastructure protections. No internet service can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your LinkedIn account and any devices or browsers you use to access Tellem.

Your Choices

You can stop using Tellem at any time. You can also request access, correction, export, or deletion of your account or project data by contacting us.

If you disconnect or revoke LinkedIn access, you may lose the ability to sign in unless another approved authentication method is made available.

Children

Tellem is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes To This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and, when appropriate, provide additional notice in the product or by other reasonable means.
